Guangwu died in the front hall of the Southern Palace in Luoyang (aged 62).
二月戊戌，帝崩於南宮前殿，年六十二。

On the second month, day wuxu, Emperor Guangwu died in the Southern Palace hall at the age of sixty-two. Every morning he had not rested from court audiences and scripture lectures, so the crown prince worried about his health.
