Dou Xian sent Geng Kui, who surrounded the Northern Chanyu at Jinwei Mountain, crushed him, and captured his mother, the yanzhi (consort).
二月，大將軍竇憲遣左校尉耿夔出居延塞，圍北單于於金微山，大破之，獲其母閼氏。

In the second month, Dou Xian sent Geng Kui and Ren Shang to Juyan Pass, surrounded and crushed the Northern Chanyu at Jinwei Mountain. The Chanyu's mother, Yanzhi, and the Mingwang and more than five thousand heads were taken, and the Chanyu fled.
竇憲以北匈奴微弱，欲遂滅之，二月，遣左校尉耿夔、司馬任尚出居延塞，圍北單于於金微山，大破之，獲其母閼氏、名王以下五千餘級，北單于逃走，不知所在，出塞五千餘里而還，自漢出師所未嘗至也。
