On the fourth month, day dingsi, Dong Zhuo rode in a carriage in court dress into the Weiyang Hall assembly, with soldiers lining both sides of the road. Lü Bu received Wang Yun's edict and disguised Li Su, Chen Gong, and ten others as guards, setting an ambush.
