What happened

In March 685 (Guiwei day), the Turks invade Daizhou; Chunyu Chuping goes to relieve it, reaches Xinzhou, is defeated by the Turks, and more than 5,000 die. (Zizhi Tongjian (Comprehensive Mirror) 권203 685년 항)
