Li Mi attacked Yunnan at the Xi'er River, but ran out of supplies while withdrawing, was captured by Geluofeng, and the whole army was wiped out. (Old Book of Tang (Jiu Tangshu), Annals 舊唐書 卷9 天寶13年)
The Dazaifu reports that the ship of Kibi no Makibi, vice-envoy to Tang, reached Yaku Island on the seventh day of the twelfth month of last year and set out, but drifted ashore at Muro Cape in Kii Province. (Shoku Nihongi (Continued Chronicles of Japan) 續日本紀 卷第19 「癸丑。大宰府奏。入唐」)
