At the Suli River mouth in Jiaozhou, Chen Baxian defeated Li Bi's army of tens of thousands; Li Bi fled to Dianche Lake and the Qulao caves, where the Qulao beheaded him and sent the head to the capital. (Book of Chen (Chenshu), Annals 陳書卷1 大同11年六月)
